Did something else today

I am taking things slow......I got really tired yesterday so I thought I would just do one thing. It makes me sad because I really want to do more ;(
This image from Inkastamps has been calling to me for a while now. I got this before I went in for surgery but had no time to play with it. I used markers to watercolor the image, and to add to it, I used the waterbrush with a black marker and made some speckles on it. I love the effect.

Hi how are you? I was looking through your blog and found it very interesting to me. As an artist here in Southern California I appreciate a variety of artistic expression.

Having said all that I would like to invite you to become friendly with me here in my San Diego blog, and comment.

You may also see that many of my labels are unique in artistic expression and always at least a music video and other aspects.

I hope you will stop by,
take care

Beautiful card, Kristy. So happy that you are able to do some art. It sounds like your recovery from surgery is progressing and your holidays will be joyful.

I like your rendering of the poppy image. Poppies always fascinate me...in art and in real life. I have an image that is somewhat similar, although it is more horizontal in design. Keep on plugging along....slowly!

taking it slow is frustating!
in the end you will benefit the most by doing so...
you might not want to hear it
but it might can be a year before you really begin to feel your strength begin to build..
i am still building...after a year
