Another Assemblage started
For this one I was able to combine my love of canvas and texture with an assemblage! I was able to fit a 6x6 canvas board inside :) So far I am loving this. This is coming together quickly-Its very close to being done but I need to finish the center and add the finishing touches. I LOVE doing these because they seem to come together fairly quickly and I love how there really is "no holds barred" on these. Fun Fun! It has truly been exciting to do these!

This is a new stamp image from IBFS in the Stampinback line-I LOVE this image. Had to have a quick play with this today. I used Color Mist Sprays for the background.

Assemblage Progress
Here is my Assemblage in the works-Its very close to being done.........but still a teeny bit more to do before I feel it is completed! I am LOVING the way its coming along!
The image of the man is from my pal Kelly at Collage Visions!
This image just fit so perfectly for this and the feeling I am trying to convey. He is behind a piece of mica :)
I think I have found a way to take better pics of these things-I found a different setting on my camera and its working better. Go figure-I have had this camera a couple years and apparently do not know it very well!! duh!!

Assemblages
I took an Assemblage Workshop today. WOW!! I have not done this before.........it was
A-maaaaaaaazzzzzzing! I have really needed something to spark my muse. In the past couple months I have felt it has really taken the "high road." It was fun to learn something new.
The guy who did the workshop has taken multiple workshops with Michael DeMeng, so it was REALLY a great workshop. I even was able to pick up a small piece of his original art (Richard Freund's) which I was pleased about because he is popular in this area.
Pictured are the 2 assemblages I completed today. It is so hard to get a good picture of these.
I have been really excited about this workshop the past several months. I can feel a style change coming. Its part of growing as an artist, and trying new things. Not that I will change completely-I am just ready to do some more experimenting. I LOVE to play. This workshop was JUST what I needed!
