This one is done...........now to name it

I added a small image transfer to this and I really feel its done. I am always nervous about adding too much. You know, "Less is more." I think it has so many details already.I don't like my pieces to be too busy. I am leaving interpretation on this one to the viewer :)
We all have different interpretations :)

What would YOU name this?

This is 12x12 on a Gallery wrapped canvas.
Acrylics, graphite, collage, ephemera and image transfer

Kirsty i totally agree that its finished - ite truelly amazing and would love to call it

"Yesterday"

The way you've chosen and blended all the colours whilst using different mediums is brilliant

I love how this came out Kristy!

I would call it Be Careful What You Wish For.

When I first saw it I was thinking "circle of life" but I see someone has already suggested that one.

How about "as time goes by"

I really like it.

I love one word titles for projects but sometimes one word wont do. In this case, however, I think one work would be perfect - Introspection,

Love the art....Gayle

Wait,wait! Even better - Retrospection.

Kristy, it's gorgeous :) Love it. I'd have to go with Memories of a lifetime or something along those lines - it's very moody...

Really cool Miz Kristy!! Off the top of my head...
"Suspicion"
"Wondering"
"The Have and Have Nots"
"Longing"
"Revenge"
"The Game"
"Head Games"
"Departure"
"Fractal Love"
ooh I could go on all day, but I'll hush. Lots of good ideas already.

I would name it Hmmph? (not sure of the spelling.) "HMMPH?"

How about "The Other Woman"...? Kind of tuning into the word you chose to highlight -- "drama" -- like she found some letters and is imagining him having an affair (though she may not be smiling about that LOL). I love the colors you used, all the elements work together...!

it reminds me of carefree summer
vacations and the innocent romances
they foster

For me, both women are identical, so I´d call it "Living in the Past" ...

"Between the Lines." The mysterious letter between the seemingly happy couple and the lone woman snickering, perhaps, and the word DRAMA gives me the feeling something is not quite how it appears on the surface. ;-)

"Reverie" or "Daydream Believer"

Hmmmmm, it speaks to me of remembering someone after rereading a love letter; juxtaposition of present and past....
"The Secret Life of Letters...."

Nice work!

A Day to Remember - it looks like that to me, with the letter and all. Great collage. I agree sometimes less is more. It is a wonderful piece no matter what you name it.

I love the piece and hopefully you've found a name by now... I'd be curious to know, what was the image transfer you added that finished it?

Dolores said...

"Golden Memories" is what I thought of when I first saw the piece.
