Postcard for the Paste Up Show!

I received a bunch of postcards for the "Paste Up" show I am in! This is both sides of it I scanned together. I think they are wonderful! I am so proud to be among such wonderful artists in this show!

Art Journal Page: Its all about your heart.

I have been listening to this song over and over today-I love its message-it was my inspiration today. It felt good to do some journaling and get my hands messy.

Ingredients used here:

collage (of course!), oil pastels , gesso, graphite, ink, Stamp from IBFS, and acrylics.

Art Journal Background

Its been a busy few weeks-very little time to do anything creative at all!

We have been having some work done on the house- things with my daughter, etc. Things seem to be on the up and up for now. Trying to take one day at a time.

I promised myself I would at least work in my art journal a little today, it was nice. I at least made up a background :)

I used inks, gesso and a stencil or two :)

As for an update on my daughter-she seems to be doing pretty well now. Her seizures seem to be under control as per the Video EEG monitoring they did at the hospital a couple weeks ago. It was so hard for me to tell before if some of her behavior was the seizures (which because of the type of seizures she had it was hard to tell anyway) or just flat out behavioral. Now that we know , its easier to handle. Its taking some creative thinking to handle it, but at this point things are working. Her behavior has gotten much better in the past week. I feel like I can breathe again (at least for now).

Some Digi Stamping

I had my first try at using "Digital Stamps" thanks to "I Brake For Digis"- a sister site to I Brake For Stamps. I wasn't sure how I would like them, being it was new to me, but I actually enjoyed playing with them! I have to say, I love the frogs! Not my normal style as most of my readers know, but I am always up for anything! I always love trying new stuff-nothing stopping me at all :)

Finally I get to do something creative! My daughter was hospitalized most of last week, so no creative time for me at all!
