Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

These are my prototypes for the "Home Goods" retail store that I licensed my artwork to! I did a close up of one of them so you can see the "pop outs" that are on these pieces. These pics do NOT do these justice-they are amazing! I am so excited! I was expecting these to be MUCH Smaller. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and found these to be approximately 21" by 17" in size. These are really well made-I am very happy.

Its taking me a bit of time to get back on a regular schedule of doing creative stuff so I am trying to just do a little bit each day......I am sure I will work right back up to doing alot again once I get back on track. Today I did a little stamping-using Grunge Backgrounds from I Brake For Stamps on this and a focal image from the Stampinback line.

Pure Joy

Indeed that is what I feel today. Kids are back in school and I am able to dip my brush into my wonderful paints and play with all my art supplies again! I am so excited to get back into my routine and to enjoy the silence that I just LOVE!!

Life is good. REALLY good.

Just have had NO time for art............my kids have taken up all my time! Now my husband is off this week for vacation and we have some plans, and today was my daughter's birthday! Its hard to believe that 7 years ago this little girl came into the world weighing only 1lb 5 oz! Each birthday truly is a celebration. Today was all about her.

2 more weeks till the kids get back to school and I can create alllllllllll day if I want! woohoooooo!! I will be partying on August 24th!!LOL

Finding the Truth-Art Journal Page

Lost of things going on in my head-very deep, very personal. This reflects that. As I was

putting the drips and drops on this page it got me thinking of how life can just be really messy sometimes, and complicated. Finding out who we are, what we really believe, gosh why does it have to be like this? At least that is what I am thinking today . Sometimes I just think I overthink everything!


I used: Ephemera , Aquacolor Watercolor crayons, graphite pencil, pitt pens, color mist sprays decorative tape and my favorite set of alphabet stamps!

Love Love Love

As much as I adore my handbound art journals, there are just times where I wish I had one small enough to throw in my bag and take with me everywhere. I decided to look into a Moleskine ! I love it already, even though I had not even made a mark in it yet!

Just messing around drawing again

Just playing...........I am getting better, I think. Like anything, it just takes practice! I did two different kinds today. I am finding it very soothing just to sit and draw :)

These are just simple drawings done with a mechanical pencil in a sketchbook.

The Answers Have To Be Somewhere

Just a page reflecting the fact I have many unanswered questions about something in my life.........goes very deep and for quite a few years, so deep I won't go into them here.....
